Archi+ was commissioned by the client in order to design a family home. The client has the luxury of owning a large plot of land and therefore the design could entertain her requirements for large spaces throughout the whole of the build. When it came to the building fabric, the client opted for a façade, which uses one particular element to identify it from the rest of the architecture present in the street. The team suggested that wood be used but was careful to make sure that the client is aware of the maintenance that comes with having wooden features. After having seen the concept proposal, it was evident that the wooden feature would be adopted both on the façade and also in the interior design of the build.
